Keigo is a Chief Researcher at the Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth and the Leader of its Systems Analysis Group. He is a member of several advisory bodies on energy and environmental policy for the Japanese government. He is also an Associate Member of the Science Council of Japan.
